Our client, a leading international energy services company, was in the process of building their project management office (PMO) in order to standardize their IT methodologies across the enterprise. To create the PMO IT infrastructure our client required technical professionals who had the required Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) skill set, as well as the soft skills required to effectively communicate escalations and work well within our client’s corporate culture.

In order to provide IT professionals ideally suited to our client, Apex’s account manager worked closely with our client’s key stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of our client’s PMO requirements. Our account manager worked in conjunction with our Packaged Software Solutions Practice Director, who helped to gather important project and intangible information outside the job description in order to refine Apex’s search for the quality ERP professionals required.  Apex converted the business requirement understanding into key screening criteria for the Apex technical recruiters and account managers. To further enhance our screening process, Apex dedicated an ERP-focused technical recruiter with a deep understanding of the soft and technical skills required to identify vetted technical professionals.
