The client was contracting IT services using over 350 different Statements of Work (SOWs) annually, mainly in the areas of technical support, software development, project management and engineering.

Apex provided a scalable, flexible solution to meet the volume and diverse resource requirements across all locations. Apex established a Program Management Office (PMO) led by a national account manager and a project delivery coordinator. The PMO designed and implemented standardized and streamlined processes for:

  • Migration from several variations to three standard SOW templates
  • SOW preparation
  • SOW contract review and approvals, including legal teams reviews, as needed
  • Pricing, including adherence to a client-defined calendar and holiday schedule
  • Simplified scope change order process
  • Various financial and other management reports, providing visibility for Apex and client management
