From conception to full blown live implementations, RPA Robots are taking on the rapidly increasing automation demands in 2018. Over the last few years, companies across the country have progressively hired RPA professionals in order to build out and implement their RPA/AI Centers of Excellence. According to recent data produced by CEB Talent Neuron and the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the demand for RPA talent has increased 62% since January 2017.

Robotic process automation (RPA) is the application of technology that allows employees in a company to configure computer software or a “robot” to capture and interpret existing applications for processing a transaction, manipulating data, triggering responses and communicating with other digital systems.

Any company that uses labor on a large scale for general knowledge process work, where people are performing high-volume, highly transactional process functions, will boost their capabilities and save money and time with RPA software.

" In one recent survey , over 70% of respondents said they were currently utilizing RPA and 66% said they were either expanding their current implementation or thinking about it."

Digital transformation spending will increasingly emphasize automation, and operating models will be re-engineered around it."

" Robotic Process Automation (RPA) emerged as an important technology in 2017 and looks primed to take an even bigger part in 2018, according to Bill Galusha , Senior Product Marketing Manager at Irvine, Calif.-based Kofax. Galusha called 2017 a year of acceleration and adoption of RPA in large enterprises. While some want to move the discussion to the next level, bringing in the element of artificial intelligence, there are no shortage of opportunities for enterprises to implement RPA now, which will lead to continued growth and adoption of it in 2018.
