Apex believes diversity is a vital piece of a company's strategic plan. Not only do we support diversity initiatives internally, we leverage our experience and resources to ensure our clients meet their specific diversity needs.

Focus on Veterans
Apex makes it a priority to connect with and recruit veterans and service members to provide them opportunities to utilize their technical skills as a civilian. We support and participate in various partnerships and networking events on an ongoing basis. In the last two years, we placed 1,120 military veterans with our clients across all major industries, including government services.

We have earned the 2016 Military Friendly Designation and have fostered strategic partnerships with the following organizations that focus on hiring veterans and military spouses:

​Apex is V3 Certified
In 2015, Apex received the V3 award from Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe commemorating Most Veterans Hired in an Enterprise Company (1001+ employees).

The results are impressive: Apex pledged to hire 500 veterans per year. However, we actually hired 731 veterans from Q3 2014 - Q2 2015.


Apex received Professional Diversity Network's Top 10 Diversity Leading Employer Award based on a commitment to diversity with a 'culture of inclusion, exceptional outreach efforts, and defined diversity recruitment strategy.'
