Are you in a long-term relationship? Recent statistics suggest approximately 14 to 15 million people in the U.S. considered themselves in a long-distance relationship. In 2016, a report released on global virtual teams suggested that the virtual team model is ubiquitous; approximately 45% of virtual team members never meet in person. Not only has the virtual team model grown in popularity, it has expanded its boundaries - more than half of virtual teams include members from other nations.

How we manage our long-term relationships matter. This session explores tips and techniques on how to strengthen our virtual teams to produce better results.

Topics include:

  1. How to communicate clearly and produce results
  2. How to employ patterns of reasoning to promote collaboration
  3. What to think about when preparing presentations to virtual team members
  4. How to leverage silence for success
