Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking for a Java/Angular/Oracle Developer for one of our biggest financial clients in Charlotte, NC. If you are interested, please send your resume to araker@apexsystems.com.

Location: Charlotte, NC - WFH with possibility of transitioning to hybrid in-office schedule

Type: 12+ month contract to hire

We are only able to work on a W2 basis, no Corp to Corp. Must be able to work on our W2 without sponsorship!

Position Summary

Candidate will be a member of a team of Java/Angular/Oracle developers. Candidate will be responsible for a wide range of programming tasks and technologies including Java, SQL, Rest services, performance tuning, etc. Candidate must have strong UI/Angular development experience. Candidate will be involved in design, code, test and level 2/3 support of the application. This effort will include development of a modern user interface for Change Management as part of the Tech ADS. In addition to development, the candidate will be responsible for partnering with the business to ensure requirements are met and with other functional areas of technology (QA, Production Support) to ensure effective implementation.
Team uses an Agile development process.
Required Experience

  • Masters/Bachelor's Degree in information systems or related field.
  • Need minimum 5+ years of experience in software development and/or testing
  • Experience with automation framework development using Java, Python, Perl, and/or vendor tools
  • Experience working in Agile environment
  • Strong database skills
  • Strong analytical ability, independent problem solving, and good communication skills

  • Oracle Exadata

  • Java, Perl, Python

Additional Desired Skills

  • Hadoop Ecosystem HDFS, Hive, Impala, HUE
