Apex Systems, America’s second largest technical staffing firm, has a 12 month contract opening for an ONSITE Technician with a client in Hagerstown, MD. This is a fast-paced, cutting edge environment offering room for advancement, professional and technical growth and long term stability. We are looking to hire fast and expect these resources to start soon. 

Quick Overview: ONSITE

Title: Onsite Technician

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Location: ONSITE Hagerstown, MD

Hours: 9am to 5pm (EST). (Must have availability to work on weekends or others shifts, this is based on production demand, which is currently on rare occurrence)
Note: Training will be provided from 3pm to 11pm in the first month. Duration may vary according to learning curve.

Responsibilities:

  • Support critical production applications and infrastructure solutions.
  • Execute time-critical support of industrial IT solutions
  • Collaborate with global support technicians in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and end-user problems, in addition to using all available resources such as personal skills, vendor documentation, and online knowledge bases
  • Use delegated authority from global operations teams to manage local infrastructure solutions
  • Proficient in general network design and troubleshooting from a connected device perspective
