M365 Operation Support
Apex Systems, the 2nd largest IT staffing firm, is looking to hire an M365 Operation Support for one of our top financial clients! This assignment is anticipated to be a 18 month remote contract; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.
Title: M365 Operation Support
Location: Can be remote. Must be able to work EST hours.
Hours: Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM. May also have some on-call rotations and some weekend work.
Rate: over $70/hour
Collaborate with M365 Operations team leadership to develop and implement technical standards, procedures, and architectures to improve operational and escalation support for M365 service delivery. Supports internal development, functional technology, and project teams on a recurring basis.
Utilize technical expertise to identify innovative solutions for daily operations and support of M36 service delivery, M365 hybrid, and multi-geo environments and service verticals such as SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Stream, Power BI, Dynamics, e-Discovery PowerApps, Power Platform, Azure Services and Lines of Business.
Works in partnership with other IT and non-IT related professionals such as Developers, Architects, Project Managers, and Business Analysts.
Supports and implements net-new key M365 services and technologies utilizing standard DevOps and Infrastructure as Code toolset standards at RSM for these implementations. Achieve M365 service deployment and operational components through automation and integration using DevOps, Web Services and scripting technologies and tools. Integrate security standards and processes into daily work to meet and sustain compliance with RSM secure practices. Utilize technical expertise to identify and recommend service and functional improvements.
Provides direct support for M365 services and technologies. Support 3rd party integrations, Enterprise Data set flows, and roadmap improvements in our M365 Hybrid Multi-Geo production, development and other environments that interact with our M365 technologies and services.
Mentor less experienced M365 engineers to help build a world-class, high-performing team and ensure operational proficiency.
Participates in scheduled and unscheduled weekend/after-hours system maintenance and support. Performs rotational on-call duty.

- Experience supporting Enterprise-scale Cloud and Hybrid IT environments
- Strong M365/O365 technologies knowledge
- PowerShell advanced knowledge
- Management of M365 tenants
- Azure Active Directory
- Use of 3rd Party Tools (Citrix, Veeam, ServiceNow, VMWare)
- Technical expertise working with M365 hybrid environments, Exchange Online, Azure AD, Dynamics 365, Power BI, SharePoint Online, Stream, Teams, OneDrive for Business, e-discovery, and conditional access
- On-premise Exchange administration
- On-premise Active Directory administration
