Silicon DV Engineer V

What are the top non-negotiable skill sets required for this role?

  • Strong DV background (test plan development) or silicon validation background
  • Baremetal or low level drivers development in C
  • Experience with C tests development at SoC level
  • Experience with UVM based verification at SoC level


  • Responsible for verification at subsystem and SoC level
  • Write and augment existing testplans.
  • Implement testbench and scoreboards / checkers.
  • Implement test sequences in C and/or SV as per plan and debug failures
  • Work closely with designers, micro architects & f/w to resolve issues
  • Ability to communicate & articulate clearly progress / issues with project leads


Must Have:

  • 7+ years of proven experience as a DV or silicon validation engineer
  • Needs to have SOC verification or low level C drivers development background
  • Implied: Candidate will have hands on Experience with executable test plans
  • Hands on experience with SV (SystemVerilog) and UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) or C tests running on CPUs/DSPs
  • Hands on Experience with Synopsys VCS / Verdi or Cadence Incisive tools
  • 2+ Years of experience with C/C++

Wish List/ Nice to Have:

  • Experience with UPF based simulation flow
  • Power and performance verification
  • CSI/DSI/Unipro/DDR protocols
  • DPHY/CPHY/MPHY protocols 
  • Experience with Power Aware GLS flow
  • Tcl and Python (or similar) scripting language
  • ASIC design experience
  • Experience in formal property verification of complex compute blocks like DSP, CPU or HW accelerators 
  • Experience with NoC verification


  • Must Have: Bachelor degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Master's Degree preferred but not required

Pay Rate: $100-$120 (Hourly)
