Job Title: Solar Sales Specialist
Duration:3 month contract-to-hire 
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL 
 

Inside Sales Account Managers are responsible for prospecting new residential customers interested in solar energy and managing partners. Prospecting new customers includes responding to sales leads, providing program information to potential customers, and encouraging participation. Managing partners includes onboarding new prospective partners, conducting training and software demonstrations, and growing the account to become a successful partner.

  • Represent the company in a professional and engaging manner to customers and partners

  • Respond to general inquiries and sales leads promptly and professionally

  • Coordinate calls and demonstrations with sales prospects

  • Provide program contractor training and performance coaching to ensure compliance

  • Track and report sales progression to manage contractor performance

  • Troubleshoot issues as needed to influence dealer behavior and drive results

  • Collaborate cross functionally with internal parties to ensure partner success

  • Mine prospects for the company products/services through strategic thinking and analytics

  • Achieve and/or exceed sales quotas

  • Support message and marketing content development for inbound and outbound sales

  • Participate in special projects within sales organization targeted to drive revenue

  • Work in a fast-paced environment

Job Overview

The Inside Sales Account Manager will be the first point of contact for customer prospects and the primary point of contact for partners. This position is responsible to drive revenue for the business by helping the sales team achieve its quota. Responsibilities include engaging in sales outreach, completing sales demonstrations, onboarding, and training new partners, promoting the use of products by partners, and helping to resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate must be highly engaging and professional, a positive team player, possess a high degree of sales acumen, and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

This position is the primary point of contact for an assigned partner and drives revenue by promoting and growing the use of company products by our partners. The position helps partners resolve issues throughout a project lifecycle and participates in the joint development of marketing and sales strategies. The position will have specific sales as well as account management targets and will be expected to perform to achieve quotas.

Job Duties

  • Drives channel partners to meet or exceed business goals

  • Forecasts on weekly, monthly and quarterly intervals and manages business to achievement of sales goals and objectives

  • Delivers training and effective coaching to partners

  • Monitors progression on sales pipelines, troubleshoots issues, intervenes and drives results through influencing behaviors

  • Collaborates with the sales and account management team and internal, cross-functional parties in support of partner success

  • Harvests new relationships, develops existing business and possesses the talent to sell at all levels of an organization

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • Ability to qualify leads, cross sell products/services, and complete sales presentations

  • Excellent time management and the ability to manage new and existing accounts

  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Previous experience in the solar and/or renewable energy industry

  • A high level of energy, motivation, initiative, commitment, and professionalism

  • Excellent telephone and general customer service skills

  • Proven experience in a sales quota environment

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems, and able to learn new technologies

  • Previous experience with B2B software

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED

  • Experience: 2+ years
