Position Description:
- A lean-forward attitude is a must to be part of the transformational journey taking place at a Cyber/IT company in the federal government contracting market. The person can thrive in this environment if they are adept at working with internal and external stakeholders, across various disciplines and can engage and hold technical and business level discussions. The selected candidate should be able to see the larger picture, help communicate it, connect, and help others connect the dots, with respect to technology and managed services contracts management.
- The candidate will have long standing relationships and contacts within the Cyber/IT community and drive our clients ability to establish Cyber/IT support service contracts and build business revenue. The candidate's credentials will include education and understanding of Government Cyber/IT, the development of partnerships and relations, and successful experience managing new business development programs.
- The Vice President will drive the successful development of our clients customer’s service strategy, business planning, business growth, development of community partnerships/provider network, increasing service utilization revenue, budget control and maintain/grow existing relationships.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with high-level personnel internal to the organization and external customers.
- Ability to write and edit complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Military experience is preferred.
Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a technology related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• ITIL Certified
• Knowledge of the Cybersecurity Framework.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a combination of cyber/information security, risk management, and IT compliance, at least five years in a senior leadership role. • Sound knowledge of business management and knowledge of information security risk management and cybersecurity technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate Cyber/IT concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various Success/Key Factors:
• Subject Matter Expert and business partner to program management and program control to oversee and manage the full contract lifecycle of a portfolio of contracts
• Provides detailed and thoughtful review of contracts to assure negotiated terms support implementation and reinforcement of Company’s risk management, compliance, quality, and fiscal initiatives to the greatest extent possible
• Deploys a practice management approach to ensure proper engagement of critical stakeholders and maintenance of clear and open communication with all stakeholders throughout the contracting process
• Negotiates various types of agreements such as contracts, contract amendments and change requests (changes in scope and price), non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontract agreements, consulting, and staffing agreements levels, ranging from board members to technical specialists.
• Sound knowledge of business management and expert knowledge of information security risk management and cybersecurity technologies.
Success/Key Factors:

• Write proposals including content, approach, sales tactics, commercial requirements, etc.
• Explain the benefits of a project to the CEO/COO including implementation cost, cash flow of the project, etc.
• Define the client’s decision processes and provide the client with all necessary information to support those decision processes
• Identify ways to maximize revenue and margin
• Ensure highly productive relationships and partnerships internally and externally for the benefit of the organization.
• Sets goal, monitor work, and evaluate results to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization.
• Manage multiple business initiatives in a dynamic environment.
