Remote Biostatistician

Type: Contract through 2023 to start
Location: 100% remote
Compensation Range: 56-77/hr w2
Project Scope & Brief Description:
This role will work on multiple statistical projects from Regulatory Sciences including statistical analysis for regulatory submissions and building new pipelines to automated statistical analysis for production studies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide statistical input to the design, analysis, reporting and interpretation of data
- Preparation of relevant sections of regulatory submissions, reports, and manuscripts
- Collaborate with cross-functional and inter-disciplinary teams for problem solving, statistical modeling/data analysis, and interpretation of complex datasets
Skills/Experience:
- Statistics phD or equivalent fields, or statistics Masters + 3 years of experiences;
- Practical understanding of statistical modeling and its applications
- Strong knowledge of experimental design, generalized linear models and nonlinear models
- Experience in identifying and solving problems related to experimental design and statistical analyses for regulatory approval using classical and modern statistical methodologies
- Strong expertise in SAS, R and other programming language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to successfully collaborate and lead projects with colleagues from diverse technical backgrounds
- Self-management skills with a focus on results for timely and accurate completion of competing deliverables
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, flexibility, and attention to details

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that scientifically rigorous experimental designs and statistical methods are implemented.
- Some experience in data mining using machine learning algorithms
