Role: Junior SQL Developer
Type: Long Term Contract (opportunity for full-time conversion)
Location: Remote, EST hours (MUST be local to DMV)
Rate: $45-50/hr W2
Candidates MUST be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Must be eligible to be processed for a CFTC clearance to be obtained prior to starting (~2 weeks)
Apex Systems is supporting one of the nation's leading federal defense contractors in finding a SQL Developer that is experienced in developing, deploying and debugging SQL-based applications. The Qualified candidate has 2+ years developing in SQL and is proficient in SSIS, SSRS & other SQL Server tools.
The Jr SQL Developer is responsible for engineering support relating to resources and facilities management, database planning and design, systems analysis and design, network services, programming, conversion and implementation support, network services project management, data/records management, and other computer related services. Equivalent experience may be substituted for a degree, with increasing level of responsibility.
? Experience Requirements:
- 2 - 6 years of overall IT experience
- BA or BS in Computer Science (or related)
- 2 - 3 years of experience with the following...
- Developing applications/procedures that interact with a SQL database
- SQL databases, best practices
- Developing, deploying, and debugging SQL based applications
- SSIS, SSRS & other SQL Server tools

- US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Obtain CFTC Clearance prior to start (~2 weeks)
- Local to Washington, D.C. / DMV area
- Operate Remotely on EST hours

- SQL Developer Certifications
