Position: Network Project Manager

Location: Richardson, TX (hybrid)

Duration: 12 month contract

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

Center Engineer needed to drive the deployment of conventional and next generation core network technologies;

Including Access Unification Router, ROADM and Transponder Unified Transport Equipment, and the supporting host of network ancillary and infrastructure equipment.

- 5 or more years in driving cross-functional projects, vendor management, and outsource teams

- Engineering experience required

- Military experience desired.

 -Effective interpersonal and team building capabilities

- Strong project planning and time management

- Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, analytical and communication skills

- Demonstrates ability to influence organizational direction and initiatives across all leadership levels

- Experience with Shopping Cart Creation in SAP or similar Order Entry Tool

- Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills

- Demonstrates expert knowledge and proven experience with the full suite of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project, and the Clarity Software Application suite. Demonstrates expert knowledge and proven experience with G-Suite

- Demonstrates competency in Telecommunications technologies, networks and business processes

- Proven track record of leading multiple complex projects to successful completion

JOB DUTIES:

CEs manage the business aspects of the projects. Coordinates and leads all aspects of the issuance of RFQs, FPQs and the evaluation of responses based on purchasing requirements, and provides detailed analysis and recommendations for the best candidates. Collaborates with partners to establish project designs, scope, deliverables and timelines. Develops and maintains detailed schedules for each project and actively runs the scheduled tasks with outside vendors including major breakthroughs, action items, long lead purchases, and any other commitments that would impact the project timeline Analyzes implications of changes from the original schedule and takes required corrective actions to ensure the project stays on track. Provides regular project status update to management and the project team (call, email or tools).
