Job Description:

Lab Technician needed for a growing company.

This position is with an upbeat team and will work Monday - Friday during the day (some flexibility in start time is offered, half day on Fridays).

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment.
• Perform standard reference testing in accordance to existing customer reference methods.
• Develop test methods for existing and prospective customers using proprietary instruments.
• Report findings in accordance with good lab practice standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email.
• Statistical analysis using Excel or similar program.
• Work directly with sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment.
• Other duties as proscribed by the Lab Manager.

Position Qualifications:

• BS in Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology preferred but NOT required. Laboratory experience is essential through academic coursework or industry experience.
• Wet chemistry skills, manual and auto titrations, pH, analytical balance, and other testing methods will be used
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to function and perform under time constraints
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple short-term assignments/projects
• General computer skills (MS Office suite, Etc.)
