Job Description:

Apex Systems is seeking a Lab Technician for one of our leading clients located near King of Prussia, PA.

The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition of solid, liquid, and gaseous materials.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust and operate lab equipment and instruments.
  • Microscopes, centrifuge, viscometer, GC, colorimeter, etc.
• Test materials used as ingredients.
• Test solutions used in processes such as anodizing, waterproofing, cleaning, bleaching, etc.
• Record test results.
• Prepare graphs and charts.
• Clean and sterilize equipment.
• Calibrate instruments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or science related field.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
