Helpdesk Representative

Job Description:
Ideal Helpdesk representative candidates will have 1-3 years of experience. Under direct supervision, responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation and resolution steps. Typically resolves basic problems while referring more complex problems to intermediate and/or senior level. May involve use of problem management database and help desk systems. This position is staffed by beginners who have had sufficient educational background and/or experience. Ticketing system experience is recommended. Data auditing to ensure accounts being entered into the system by users meet data requirements. Approve new data entries after confirming no duplicates exist. Communicate with users when further information about account being entered is needed.
Requirements:
- Education - High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college would be a plus.
- Experience - 1-3 years of relatable experience.
- Communication skills (both verbal and written) is highly important for this role. Individual must be able to be forward-thinking, responding to users with other items that may prevent resolutions down the road, troubleshooting, detail-oriented, good work ethic, and customer-focused.
Location:
Role is 100% remote. Team sits in EST but manager is open if they sit in other time zones.
Schedule:
1st shift typically 8am-5pm
