Job Description:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Mass Communications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required.

• Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in the AV/VTC environment, including working knowledge of components, line drawings, and others as they pertain to the layout and functionality of AV/VTC systems

• Minimal 6 – 8 years of experience

• Strong AutoCAD skills, with the ability to create AV design drawing packages

• Works independently, receives minimal guidance, and excels in delivering design packages on time

• Has deep knowledge of one or more infrastructure components, specifically POLY/ZOOM systems

• Demonstrates ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities

• Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization

• Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions

• Experience delivering AV technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment

Top 3 must haves:

1. Must have strong AutoCAD experience and skills, especially with AV design work as this will be the primary job function

2. Must have min 6-8 years of experience within the AV industry

3. Excellent written and oral communication skills

In addition:

Familiar with working with Facilities teams, general contractors, LVC, and other trades that participate in the building out of spaces to support AV/VTC systems.
