Senior Scientist- iPSC Cell Manufacturing

Job Description:
Location: Manchester, NH (onsite)
Science/ Focus: Biologics
Job Overview: Responsible for developing, optimizing and performing experiments for biologic manufacturing processes, transferring a manual processes to scalable, automated, closed manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute flexible cell-based product manufacturing processes
- Lead process development activities, including process gaps analysis, the definition of process design space, process development, and process validations
- Contribute to the design of process development studies and support the drafting of production batch records, written technical reports and presentations
- Advanced education with 2+ years of experience supporting process development/ tissue engineering or cell and gene therapy in industry
- Strong mammalian cell culture techniques (adherent cell culture) using bioreactors
- Experience with GMP and process development or DOE related to cell scale-up
- Ability to lead in a cross-functional team setting and partner closely with internal and external team members
- Exposure to characterization methods used in proteomics and gene expression, RT-PCR, ELISA, flow cytometry is a plus
