Linux Systems Engineer

Hybrid/On-site in Austin, TX

The workers responsibilities and skills must include:

• Implement and administer directory services security policies, patching, standards, and procedures in coordination with Security and Information Security service component provider.
• Oversee and Interface with service provider support as needed, including opening tickets with Vendors when support is needed.
• Administer Federation Services within the directory services environment (currently Active Directory Federation Services) other Federated Services, and similar applications.
• N-1/N Upgrade planning and implementation.
• Advise (or manage) any upgrade or configuration change of an existing operating system.
• Advise on technical strategies, new technologies, and trends.
• Work with and provide input on solutions from client and DCS Solution Architects
• Provide Windows and Linux support for systems in datacenters and in the cloud.
• Coordination with Application Owners for upgrade planning.
• Infrastructure Roadmap Development.
• Create/ Advise on processes.
• Ability to work with Multiple vendors.
• Assist in audit processes
