Position Summary: As the Systems Engineer you will lead a cross-functional team to support the discovery, analysis and design required to migrate IT services from twenty DoD agencies into the DoD Net.

Position: System Engineer

Location: Fort Meade, Maryland  

Clearance Type: Secret Clearance up to a Top Secret/SCI

Hours of Operation/Location: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm and Hybrid, two days onsite and three days remote. 

Hourly/Salary Pay Range: $57.69/HR-$62.50/HR and $120,000-$130,000 (Could be flexible on the rate)    

Interview Process: One-step 30 minute Teams interview

Daily Responsibilities:

• Oversee the coordination, and development of migration plans for n-tier applications and services.
• Design solutions, integrate, configure, test, and deploy server-based applications on windows and Linux in cloud environments. 
• Document existing infrastructure.
• Optimize end-to-end system performance and conduct data captures to obtain performance information.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance
• Seven or more years of System Engineering experience.
• Must have an active DoD IAT II Certification. 

Nice to have technical experiences:

• Strong knowledge of network virtualization storage cyber and data center facilities.
• Experience managing and deploying Virtual environments (i.e. VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, AWS, Azure).
• Experience managing Storage solutions (i.e. Dell, NetApp, HPE).
• Experience managing and deploying Windows Server and/or Linux server ecosystems.
• Experience with networking concepts.
• Experience performing enterprise migrations and upgrades.
• Experience designing and/or developing enterprise solution(s).
