Position:  .NET Engineer

Location: Onsite 4x a week (M-Th) in Miami, FL

Duration:  6 months contract-to-hire

Scope of work:

The Revenue Management Development and Systems team is responsible for all data, decision tools, reporting and information needs for the Revenue Management and Air/Sea teams. The Solution Developer's role is to design, build and maintain custom applications for our users. It will also collect requirements from the business, prototype, discuss design and build the system in a development environment. This individual will also help document the logic behind the system and participate in test plan and implementation.
Performs other duties as required. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position. Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.

Required skills/competencies:

Strong C# and .NET
Strong web technologies HTML, XML, HTTP, JSON, JQUERY, AJAX, MVC, JAVASCRIPT

Strong debugging skills
Database skills Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server, MySQL
Experience interacting with websites and databases programmatically
Ability to think ''big picture''
Know how to analyze data generated in the systems and help create reports for the business users of the systems

Preferred Skills:

Maintain current web application coded in C# and .NET.

Ability to parse text and use regular expression.

Experience in the design, coding, and deployment of complex applications

Strong Web-based Application Development

Ability to troubleshoot a web-based application

Must Haves:
1. .NET & C#

2. ASP.net MVC (v5)

3. SQL experience

Years of experience: 2-4
