Position: Robotic Area Manage
Location: Eugene, OR
Rate: $35/hr
Duration: 2+ year contract (long-term)
Responsibilities will include:
Follows established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines to perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safety and proper functionality of equipment or systems; inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment or systems; observing and documenting signs of wear and tear; recommending repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs; determining replacement needs; and documenting preventive maintenance activities.
Performs major and minor repairs on equipment or systems by utilizing a wide range of craft skills (for example, electronics, networking, electrical, mechatronics, and robotics); inspecting, operating, or testing equipment or systems to diagnose problems; dismantling equipment, machines, or systems to gain access to and remove defective parts; diagnosing problems using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary; utilizing hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment; providing prompt response to emergency calls; and documenting repair activities.
Manages work orders and maintenance schedules by completing and submitting required written and electronic information (for example, expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, and maintenance logs); ordering and tracking parts and replacement equipment; recording purchases and usage; submitting warranty claims; and adhering to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and guidelines; ensuring quality work is completed that complies with federal, state, and local regulations; ensuring contractors follow Walmart quality standards, safety requirements, and meet contract requirements; identifying and reporting deficiencies; unloading and storing equipment; and transporting equipment between facilities.
Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; analyzing and applying information from multiple sources; monitoring progress and results; and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.
Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices; implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and assisting management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.
Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others with how to adapt to change or new challenges.”
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of electro-mechanical technician experience
- Experience in a lead or management role
- Strong communication skills
- Experience performing preventative maintenance
- AS or certifications relevant to the role
