We are seeking an experienced Audiovisual Specialist to join our team at ECS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of NHLBI workshops, ensuring that all audiovisual requirements are met seamlessly. This role is currently remote due to Covid-19, but may require in-person attendance in the future.

 

The successful candidate will have experience in audiovisual equipment operation and maintenance, producing and supporting virtual and hybrid events, exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills, and possess a customer-focused approach to service delivery. The Audiovisual Specialist will work closely with other service departments within NIH to provide comprehensive technical support and maintain an inventory of all audiovisual equipment and accessories. They will troubleshoot and resolve issues with audiovisual equipment during events and ensure that all safety protocols are followed during audiovisual equipment operations. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide best-in-practice support to multiple event formats, including In-person, Virtual and Hybrid events
  • Develop Run of Shows
  • Participate in pre-planning logistics meetings
  • Support technical dry-runs
  • Set up and operate audiovisual equipment
  • Provide technical assistance to presenters and manage virtual meeting rooms
  • Provide full room reconfiguration when required
  • Reset furniture to default configuration after events
  • Provide room management
  • Assist presenters with loading and running presentations
  • Set up and configure virtual meeting rooms
  • Provide dedicated, uninterrupted service during virtual events
