Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking to hire a FULLY ONSITE Manufacturing Tooling & Equipment Engineer for one of our clients based out of Dublin, VA.
This assignment is anticipated to be a 12 month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.

Overview:
Manufacturing Tooling & Equipment Engineer work focuses on designing and developing mechanical equipment and tools for use in manufacturing processes including:
- Researching production equipment solutions and developing new or modifying existing equipment designs
- Designing, developing, and implementing mechanical equipment and tools (e.g., machinery, machine attachments, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, etc.)
- Overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and associated processes to optimize utilization, uptime and production yield
- May liaise with and conduct training for the Technology Transfer and Production Groups on new equipment and associated processes.
Responsibilities:
- Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
- Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.
- Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
