Job Title: Team Lead Software Engineer
Top Requirements: C# and desktop development experience
Location: Atlanta Metro Area (on-site 3x a week, remote 2 days)

Software Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Develop requirements and user stories for a software system
- Implement front-end or backend software features in a JavaScript or Python framework, respectively
- Design data models and implement these data storage approaches in database systems
- Perform software development, software debugging, software modification / enhancement, and software documentation
- Create automated software tests
- Develop and maintain kernel and user-level software and scripts
- Contribute to technical reports and presentations
- Follow agile software development processes and practices
- Support translation of system requirements into software requirements and design
- Work within cross-functional teams to refine requirements, formulate technical approaches, implement designs, review code, and spread knowledge
- Design, implement, and execute automated tests (both unit and integration) to verify system functionality
- Contribute to automated build processes and continuous integration pipelines
- Document workflows and system use cases and facilitate user training
- Utilize and contribute to open source libraries
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience with C# (WinForms, WPF), C++, MATLAB, Java, or Python
- Experience with software version control tools and best practices (e.g. Git)
- Experience developing on/for Windows and Linux operating systems
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience leading software development teams
- Experience with software development and collaboration tools such as GitLab and Atlassian
- Experience with EW and avionics systems architecture, function and interface
- Familiarity with relevant interfaces, including MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, serial, discrete and analog signal interfaces
- 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
- 3 years of related experience with a Masters’ degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
- 0 years of related experience with a Ph.D. in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
