Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Sr. Technical Program Manager with experience in technical program management, strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and knowledge of cloud technologies and SaaS methodologies to place at our client, an Enterprise Telecom client.
Client: Enterprise Telecom Client
Terms: 6-month contract to hire  
Location: 100% Remote
Hours: 37.5-40 hours per week

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program manager who has a balance of a strong project management background and a passion for SAP S/4HANA and cloud technologies. You will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment (with the ability to adapt to changing priorities), possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions) and are self-motivated and results-oriented (with a strong sense of accountability and ownership) Additionally, you have a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions, are a team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and have a continuous learning mindset and a desire to stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP technologies.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical program management of our SAP S/4HANA modernization program, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and business stakeholders, to define technical solutions and project requirements.
• Utilize expertise in SAP S/4HANA to drive architectural decisions, system integration, and data migration strategies.
• Leverage GCP or cloud expertise to define and lead the implementation of cloud solutions and infrastructure for SAP S/4HANA.
• Drive the adoption of cloud operating models, ensuring efficient and scalable operations for our SAP landscape.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SAP technologies, including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP RISE, and provide recommendations for their implementation.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and select appropriate technologies and solutions for SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Manage project risks and issues, proactively identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.
• Define and implement project governance and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team

• 15+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on SAP projects and infrastructure modernization
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, including architecture, system integration, and data migration.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and SaaS methodologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services
• Familiarity with cloud operating models and best practices, including scalability, elasticity, and cost optimization
• Familiarity with SAP RISE and its implications for SAP S/4HANA projects
• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services, such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration or SAP Analytics Cloud
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical programs within scope, budget, and timeline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to navigate through ambiguity and drive results
• Familiarity with Project management and reporting tools.
• Understanding of project management methodologies, QA / risk management methodologies, and change management methodologies at large companies
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Certification in SAP S/4HANA and project management (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum)
• Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and their integration with SAP
