Location: Boston area (Onsite)
Science/ Focus: Biologic (Nucleic acid therapeutics)
Job Overview: This Analytical Development focused Scientist will work as part of a cross-functional team including formulation and process development groups to build successful drug products, author IND documentation, and transfer the methods to our external partners in support of clinical manufacturing and stability testing.
- Design and implement analytical test methods to characterize lipid nanoparticles containing oligonucleotides using internal and external resources
- Characterization testing of drug product process intermediate samples
- Develop and pre-qualify test methods for transfer to CDMO partners to support clinical manufacturing
- Perform stability testing and forced degradation studies of lead drug products
- MS or PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience with HPLC method development using various techniques (IP-RP, HIC, HILIC, ELSD, CAD)
- Prior experience testing LNP formulated nucleic acid products is an add plus
- Experience with other analytical techniques such as capillary electrophoresis, ELISA, qPCR, gel electrophoresis would a plus
