As a Business Analyst (BA) within the Digital Platform Group, you play a key role by being responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing workflow and business processes, and writing functional specifications, user stories, and test plans.  The BA is a results?oriented individual with a passion and capability for contributing to the development of world-class learning solutions, delivered on?time and in?scope. The BA is a self?directed team member with demonstrated leadership potential to effectively work across multiple teams, products, and/or platforms.
With our digital products accounting for over 70% of revenue (and growing), you will set a vision and utilize your influence and collaboration to drive the evolution of our digital content delivery and learning experiences.
Must Have for this role:
  • 2+ years of experience with agile software development
  • Able to manage defect triage and resolution in partnership with business or support teams.
  • Able to collect user feedback and feature requests to support the product roadmap.
  • Have the ability to document business requirements, release notes, workflows, processes, training materials, and technical alternatives for specific epics or feature sets.
  • Ability to draft agile epics and user stories; maintain backlog with high-quality stories, acceptance criteria, and current priority.
  • Need to be able to partner with product management, engineering, user experience, and QA to deliver roadmap commitments on-time, on-scope, on-quality
  • Have to have Strong Communication Skills Written and Verbal
  • Able to Articulate to write release notes and business requirements from user story

Responsibilities
  • Manage defect triage and resolution in partnership with business or support teams.
  • Collect user feedback and feature requests to support the product roadmap.
  • Document business requirements, release notes, workflows, processes, training materials, and technical alternatives for specific epics or feature sets.
  • Draft agile epics and user stories; maintain backlog with high-quality stories, acceptance criteria, and current priority.
  • Lead scrum ceremonies to ensure that there is clear understanding of the user stories to ensure accurate sizing and task breakdown to, maximizing team productivity.
  • Partner with product management, engineering, user experience, and QA to deliver roadmap commitments on-time, on-scope, on-quality.

What can you bring to the role?
2+ years of experience with agile software development
Experience understanding wireframes, UX design, and use-case and flow diagrams
Demonstrated leadership potential to effectively work across multiple teams, time zones, and countries
Deadline?conscious, results?driven, and high?performing in a high?intensity environment
Acute attention to detail, the ability to analyze complex systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational communication skills; must be able to communicate with technical teams and business stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment, as well as clearly document software for these audiences
Demonstrated people skills; must be able to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities and skill sets, and enjoy constructive conflict
Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
