  • Installation and wiring of routers/switches and other network equipment.
  • Collaboration with multiple groups for configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting of network devices.
  • Effectively identify and utilizes the proper resources, drawings, and engineering documents to efficiently complete projects.
  • Prioritize and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
3+ years demonstrated experience in the following.
  • Working knowledge of data circuits (T1, MPLS, Ethernet), fiber terminations, LAN/WAN cabling
  • Functional understanding and the ability to wire and test 48 and 135v DC, 120v AC, rectifiers, along with associated grounding requirements.
  • Skilled in the use of fiber optic test equipment, LAN/WAN copper and fiber test sets,
  • Skilled in the termination and troubleshooting of various cabling types and familiarity with color coding requirements for cabling identification, wire wrapping, Cat 5/6 cabling.
  • Must be safety and environmentally conscious as well as detailed oriented.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
  • Must be able to see color and distinguish between colors.
