Deskside Support Technician

Job Description:

Apex Systems is assisting one of their reputable logistics clients in filling their Deskside Support Technician position.
This is a contract to hire and the contract will be 6 months with conversion contingent on performance.

***Must sit onsite in West Jefferson, Ohio and be able to work directly on Apexs W2***
Schedule: M-Friday; fully onsite

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Desktop/Helpdesk Support in warehouse/manufacturing environment
  • Experience with installing, troubleshooting and supporting corporate AV equipment, as well as building, deploying and troubleshooting desktop computers in a corporate environment


Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 and 3 escalated technical issues
  • Maintain and manage workload through computerized ITSM ticketing and tracking system (ServiceNow)
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues on laptops, PCs, thin clients and mobile devices
  • Use SCCM, PowerShell, Active Directory and other diagnostic and remediation utilities to identify, diagnose and correct issues
  • Support, troubleshoot and train end users on Microsoft Office applications, including Office 365 email and Outlook
