Apex Systems is seeking a Network Project Coordinator for an exciting opportunity for with our clients Telecommunications Infrastructure team.

  • Analyzes architecture, relationship between systems, and systems flow of end-to-end designs.
  • Interface with Engineering, Operations and Network Planning organizations to serve and support proper designs needed to simplify and modernize the legacy network.
  • Track monthly Engineering and Operations progress to ensure progress is being made to achieve Open For Sales, Copper Migration and Switch shutdown targets.
  • Sharing progress with leaders and other stakeholders with dashboards and reports.  
Required Skillsets
  • Planning and organization skills in a dynamic and high pressure work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Experience with OSP engineering and processes
  • Experience in Engineering systems (e.g. WFM, BDMS, nTAS Canvas, vBuild)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to act independently with a sense of urgency and appropriately escalate issues as required
  • Ability to work in a cross functional capacity between various internal and external organizations
  • Ability to balance multiple projects with varying priorities 
Desired Skillsets:
  • Experience working with Permitting and Easements in Northern Virginia
  • Experience working with Local Municipal Governments in Northern Virginia
  • Experience with OSP engineering and processes
  • Experience analyzing SFU, SBU, MTU and MDU FTTP designs
  • Experience in Engineering systems (e.g. IDDS, FIM, L-FIM)
  • Experience working with Property Managers for Multi-Dwelling / Multi-Tenant Properties 
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience
