A Technical Project Manager to drive the inter-connected programs. This role requires working closely with software development groups across the organization to ensure successful delivery of critical initiatives. The position requires regular communication with executive management for status, risks, and mitigations. Excellent listening and writing skills, as well as strong technical competency is essential. The ideal candidate can focus on both delivery and customers.. A successful candidate will have a technical background, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and great project management and communication competencies.
  • Experience executing corporate-wide initiatives: define project plans, coordinate resources, manage implementation activities, and develop all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support.
  • Gather, record, and translate detailed business requirements into user stories
  • Estimate project deliverables, develop project plans, write development stories, and coordinate sprint planning and scrum activities to deliver successful projects on time and within budget
  • Manage sprints, demos, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings to identify process improvements
  • Regularly communicate with senior management regarding the status of specific project deliverables, and interact with clients to set and manage expectations
  • Create clarity around business objectives through the development and refinement of user stories
  • High degree of competency with Agile methodology, identifying and managing risks, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communicating overall program status
  • A deep understanding of the software development process
Skills Needed:
  • 6-8+ years experience in a Project Management working in large multi-team environments  
  • Experience with Jira, or
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices
  • Knowledge of Agile techniques like User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, and Automated Testing
  • Technical background with a Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Software, Project Management
  • PMP certification
  • Agile certification
  • Prior gaming industry experience
