Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking for a Business Analyst to support the evergrowing United States Postal Service. This is a 6 month contract to hire engagement with Apex Systems. After 6 months you will have the option of full time employment with one of the top governement integrators. This position is on site in Washington, DC, please apply if interested!
List of tasks to be performed:
*Work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
*May be required to create time sensitive deliverables and respond directly to incidents in ServiceNow
*May lead project teams within assigned unit to develop, plan and manage project tasks
*Independently analyze and develop innovative resolutions for complex problems involving availability and/or performance at the component level. Work with vendors to resolve problems; implement solutions independently
*Responsible for problem resolution for advanced technical issues in the environment 
*Able to communicate verbally and in writing and provide training
*Conducts data analysis in support of product acceptance programs and initiatives; collects and analyzes data to identify trends and insights and summarize findings. Develops reports and makes recommendations based on results.
•Analyzes package mail entry data to reconcile customer payments; monitors and ensure customer payments are received accurately and timely. Develops and presents recommendations to management to improve the monitoring and accuracy of revenue collection. Collaborates with stakeholders to reconcile customer accounts and payments and determine if refunds are warranted.
•Provides technical advice and guidance to customers, field employees and managers both orally and in writing on commercial product acceptance policies, programs, and regulations.
Required Experience Level:
*Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics·
