Position: Service Delivery Manager
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL or Santa Clarita, CA
Duration : 6 Month Contract with Potential Extension
Position Overview:
A large client in the South Florida area is looking for a Service Delivery Manager to act as the liaison between the service desk team and the business, while also helping with the transition to a new managed service provider.  
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
These two additions will be the management team that will help in the day to day operations and transition of the new MSP.
They wont be doing anything technical/super hands-on but they will need to know the jargon & understand what the technical team needs in order to escalate to the correct team. Help with changes in the help desk procedures.  Look at tickets & check engineers response times & efficiency.  Providing ideas to lead the team to better efficiency if needed.  Customer satisfaction. Etc.
MUST Haves:
Managerial experience – must have run at least 2 programs
Comes from a help desk/service desk/end user computing background
ServiceNow - Ticketing Managing
Manage mid-large size outsourced engagement
Financials – ARC/RUG, budget management
Good communication – can push back when needed, driven, takes initiative
