Position: Sales Assistant
Location: Charlotte, NC
  • Hybrid, 3x/week onsite
Contract Length: 5 months

Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:  
This role is within a team of 8-10 that manages and maximizes TV commercial schedules for major national consumer brands and political candidates, and plays a key role in assuring successful client ad campaigns. This position is open due to the influx of advertisement inquiries as related to the election year. Day-to-day includes assistance with importing orders into system, checking inventory to ensure it clears and processing data. Most of the work is within systems proprietary to the company, so no experience is necessary. Data is transferred from the agency buy sheet, and includes validating the info against rates that are standardized for news networks. This person will be performing checks and balances and ensuring compliance with FCC including checking inventory and analyzing availability of scheduling space within the system. Details matter – the team cannot quote one rate for one candidate and one rate for another these rates must be standardized for time of day, market, etc. This is a fast-paced data entry role. The team needs someone with attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency. This position requires strong communication skills, and prioritization.
