The project manager is one of 3 pivotal roles in the execution and delivery of a customer-facing message. Along with a copywriter and designer, the project manager works with LOB Marketers to design, develop, and deliver emails, SMS, and push notifications.
The project manager is an experienced project management and process professional who excels in a team environment and can communicate effectively with and influence partners across multiple levels of the organization. Strong IT knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role.
This is what youll do:
Partner with a copywriter and designer to implement new messages and updates to existing messages, including email, SMS and push notifications, from initial concepts through delivery.
Manage and track key activities involved with delivering messages, including configuration, testing, and launch activities.
Work with LOB partners to obtain necessary process QA and Production approvals needed to send messages.
Ensure all aspects of risk, compliance, and process controls are well-managed and followed.
Support multiple teams and Lines of Business and projects of various sizes.
Provide clear, transparent, concise communication with project team and mid-level management.
The ideal project manager should:
Have a background in digital technologies with an understanding for email, SMS, and push notification products.
Embody a passion for delivering meaningful messages and experiences in a digital world.
Have Experience in IT development environments with strong knowledge of agile processes.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to tailor messages to multiple audiences at different levels.
Autonomously lead multiple projects, including demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions, and garner respect from other teams.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills, ability to solve problems quickly
Effortlessly flex and pivot to meet the needs of LOB clients and teammates
Proactively assess opportunities and implement changes to enhance the message process.
Exercise sound judgement for when escalation to leadership is required.
