Junior Salesforce Administrator

The Junior Salesforce Administrator position will support the building, developing, and implementing the Salesforce platform at Apex. We are looking for you to bring a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and an enthusiasm for learning our current and future business goals to support future integrations. A strong people focus is needed to manage support tickets, train users, and design solutions with user satisfaction in mind. This role will work alongside a team to learn new business procedures/processes and translate them into technical solutions. Reporting to the Senior Salesforce Administrator, this position will work across all areas of the business and should feel comfortable speaking to both the technical and lay aspects of the platform.
  • Responsible for user and license management
  • Managing Salesforce configuration changes, including customizations and reporting
  • Supporting DevOps releases including Sandbox experience and User Acceptance Testing
  • Working across technical and business teams to gather requirements, identify gaps, and create scalable solutions focusing on user experience
  • Routine and proactive system maintenance
  • Supporting all users by monitoring and responding to support tickets,
  • Assisting with new user adoption and providing ongoing user training including creating and maintaining documentation
  • Works with Senior Salesforce Administrator to support integration of existing applications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or other IT area
  • 2+ years of proven Salesforce Administration experience, preferably in a fast-paced enterprise environment
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator or additional Salesforce certifications preferred
  • Strong Salesforce knowledge, ideally in successful integrations and upgrades
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across varying levels of business and technical teams
