The Senior Salesforce Administrator will play a critical role in building, developing, and implementing the Salesforce platform at Apex. You should have a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and a passion to learn our current and future business particularly in managing future integrations. As a highly collaborative position, this role requires someone who will work with stakeholders on managing the product roadmap through gathering requirements, developing best practices, and refining the user experience. You will need to be a strong problem solver who will leverage your analytical skills to anticipate and resolve technical issues across the platform. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will provide strong communication across all levels including to both technical team members and business users. This position will manage a small team of Salesforce Administrators and will maintain necessary compliance and governance across the platform and integrations.
  • Responsible for user and license management
  • Manage Salesforce configuration changes, including customizations and reporting
  • Manage DevOps releases including setting up and maintaining Sandbox and overseeing User Acceptance Testing
  • Work across technical and business teams to gather requirements, identify gaps, and create solutions
  • Ensure data quality through strong use of data management, including adding rules and automation where appropriate
  • Perform routine and proactive system maintenance
  • Oversee all User Experience of the platform, including User support tickets, new user adoption and providing ongoing user training
  • Work with leadership to integrate existing applications and identify additional integrations that improve business process efficiencies

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or other IT area
  • 5+ years of proven Salesforce Administration experience, preferably in a fast-paced enterprise environment
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (or relevant Salesforce certifications)
  • Extensive Salesforce knowledge, specifically in successful integrations and upgrades
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce products with a knack for identifying unused or underutilized platform features
  • 2+ years of DevOps/Release management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels
  • Skilled at relationship-building and working with stakeholders
