JOB DESCRIPTION
Apex Systems Business Transformation department is seeking a Salesforce Product Owner with responsibilities of leading Salesforce to manage the backlog of prioritization of work across delivery teams. Reporting to the Head of Strategy, you will engage and collaborate with people managers, Product Managers, and Customers as part of the Agile product operating model, serve as the key engagement and relationship owner for product area customers/consumers, and support people managers in performance and team alignments based on delivery work and team dynamics/competencies.
This key resource will join our growing Business Transformation team, who are focused on providing solutions with real business value to our global operations.  We are a team dedicated to continuous evolution of Technologies (Hardware, Software, systems, and process) who provide a customer-focused approach building authentic partnerships with internal stakeholders while designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions for our company.  This is not a client facing role but rather one focused on driving internal solutions and transformation within Apex Systems.
  • Responsible for the Product Strategy for Salesforce including quantitative and qualitative targets and relative fit of the product in the product line
  • Coordinates with various Product Owners, Product Managers and Product General Managers and other business functions to prioritize and align the backlog with the business priorities and overall user journeys
  • Responsible for all product training and communications in partnership with corporate functional partners
  • Owner of applicable product change management practices (Organizational Change, Strategy planning, Implementation, Culture, Continuous Improvement)
  • Act as a conduit between the Delivery team and its stakeholders
  • Gathering and managing feature requirements from other business stakeholders
  • Prioritizing/grooming requests in a single product backlog
  • Defining and refining themes, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and spring review meetings
  • Manage the finance, and daily operations of Salesforce
  • Navigate, communicate, prioritize processes that enable or inhibit the teams delivering for the product/customer journey
  • Owner of team documentation on a timely basis and as dictated by the policy, line of business procedures, or sponsor (e.g., Controls, project plans, risks, issues, etc.)
  • Lead a broad team of professionals to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Make decisions in product strategy for product functionality and customer experience areas requiring strong understanding of the business policies, procedures and or compliance requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 3+ years of business continuity planning experience
  • 2+ years of years of experience as a Salesforce Product Owner, CRM, Marketing Cloud experience preferred
  • Proven ability managing stakeholders and driving decision-making
  • Experience driving and leading organizational change in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated experience in large scale program/project management, matrix environment management, Agile delivery (Kanban, Scrum) or other related competencies
  • Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Product metrics and KPI’s, including Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.
  • Experience with Agile techniques, including User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
  • Knowledge and facility with Agile tools, to capture user stories and track team progress. (AzureDevOps Preferred)
  • Experienced in tracking and documenting tangible ROI.
  • Experience working on a team transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or exposure to any other scaling principles
  • Ability to work effectively virtually where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Having software development and programing knowledge is preferred
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) preferred
