The HR Analyst reports to the VP, Compensation, Performance, & Reporting and will assist with the organization’s HR needs as it pertains to performance management. This role will compile various report requests, general analysis performance metrics/trends and other various HR initiatives as needed.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Assist with the Geography, Industry and Solutions Compensation programs for Apex
  • Assist with the administration of the Performance Management process to include but not limited to:
    • Periodic audits to ensure employees are where they need to be in the process
    • Assist with creation and delivery of training materials as needed
    • Assist with the year-end merit process, tracking and reporting on finalization of the year process
    • Answer questions regarding the process from the field and back office as needed
  • Assist with payroll, compensation and process audits ensure we are in compliance with SOX and other internal controls
  • Participate in Market and federal surveys as requested, collecting Apex information and reporting data
  • Assist with Apex regulatory reporting needs with federally and state mandated reports to include AAP (Affirmative Action Plans), EEO, Vets reporting, and others as requested.
  • Act as a backup on parent company Human Resources needs, with regards to payroll audits, PeopleSoft updates and other requests as needed.
  • Perform analysis on multiple reports, and create reports as needed from data extrapolated from PeopleSoft and other company databases.
  • Work with and assist other areas within the HR Department with special projects or reporting needs on an as needed basis.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 + plus years of HR experience dealing with Compensation administration, HR reporting/analysis and Diversity initiatives
  • Experience and knowledge of HRIS systems, preferable PeopleSoft
  • Advanced Excel knowledge with formulas and pivot tables
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to understand technical needs and assessment
  • Sound knowledge of HR practices and Employment laws
