Position:  Financial Portfolio Analyst
Location:  Hybrid onsite in Orlando, FL
Duration: Long term contract
Rate Range: $50-60 per hour
 
Position Overview:  
The Portfolio Analyst must be able to elicit, track, and manage cost planning for specific projects. Includes collection of business and user needs, accrual reporting, forecasting, invoice tracking, and client tracking. May also include organization of requirements, estimates, and preparation of materials necessary to support the project funding and kickoff process.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years experience in Financial Portfolio Analysis
2. Experience supporting IT Teams with project financials
3. Strong Excel skills

• Must have proven experience coordinating, tracking, and reporting technology project financials across multiple teams including:
  • Establishing, maintaining and tracking project budgets, and overall cost control.
  • Establishing resource plans and translating resource plans into financial forecasts.
  • Preparing detailed monthly project forecasts, managing project forecast processes and conducting project review meetings.
• Proactively identifies issues (data or process) and ensures that appropriate action is taken to resolve issues and communications are sent to keep the end user audiences informed and updated.
• Demonstrated ability to build credibility with internal clients and to navigate organizational structures.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and adapt to different audiences and clients.
• Strong analytical skills required, experience with budgets and financial analysis preferred. Preparation of project scoping and funding artifacts in collaboration with delivery and engineering team leads.
• Monitoring financial performance of projects using SAP reports.
• Coordinating budgetary and transactional accounting adjustments with Finance personnel. Reporting, documenting, and communicating actual and forecasted variances.
• Presenting status and issues to various levels/expertise of management and business partners.
• Identify issues and define solutions to emerging issues including forecasted budget implications.
• Assist with vendor engagement processes (RFP’s, Statements of Work, Staffing).
• Assist with contract monitoring processes (SOW’s, Resource monitoring, milestone tracking, deliverables verification, audit).
• Monitor progress and cost related to annual audit/remediation requirements
