Our client embarked on a crucial project to enhance their virtual wallet service by integrating mobile identifications such as driver’s licenses. This project demanded high-caliber engineering to meet rigorous privacy and security standards. Recognizing this, and the complexity of obtaining state-by-state approval due to diverse legal requirements, they turned to Everforth Apex. At Everforth Apex, our seasoned program managers and developers excel in collaborating with external partners and managing launches. Our client sought a partner capable of collaborating during the initial phases and accelerating progress as additional products were launched.

To address the complexity and need for collaboration, our team worked closely with the client's team to develop project plan templates that streamlined integration planning, resource allocation, progress monitoring, and issue resolution, ensuring successful launches. This enabled our client to manage increased velocity while maintaining consistency, achieving the following key outcomes: 

• Collaborated with client partners and engineering teams to define objectives, enable documentation access, build project plans, monitor progress, communicate status, and drive issue resolution
• Launched smartphone Mobile Wallet Credentials for corporate facilities access at two of our client’s manufacturing partners
• Integrated Mobile Wallet Credentials on open-source standards and smart watches for client partners
• Introduced digital state identification cards into the Mobile Wallet, bringing the future of identification to smartphones. This service is currently available in six states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Maryland, and New Mexico

RESULTS 

The collaboration led to the successful launch of a secure digital ID feature within the client’s digital wallet service. The combination of standardized templates for external partner communication and the automation implemented for project initiation has significantly improved execution, tracking, and scalability for our client. The most recent launch, which was ten times larger than the previous four states combined, went smoothly without any glitches in product performance or support. Impressively, there were no critical issues reported. The efficiency gains from these improvements are anticipated to be even more pronounced in future projects.
