SITUATION​

Our client utilized hundreds of applications on the OutSystems platform, which was nearing the expiration of its license. Renewing the platform would entail significant expenses. Using Power Apps instead, which was already included within their existing Microsoft Licensing, presented an opportunity to substantially lower project costs by mitigating licensing expenses. As a result, our client decided to migrate to Power Apps. To ensure a successful migration, stakeholders sought the expert guidance and support of Everforth Apex to navigate the Power Platform effectively.​

Everforth Apex took a comprehensive approach to evaluate and migrate over 200 applications from OutSystems to Power Apps. We provided two Microsoft Power Platform Consultants to lead and advise on education and training; migration strategy and planning; governance and capacity management; and implementation and execution. Additionally, our Solutions Architect offered advisory oversight to ensure the success of the engagement. Our team successfully migrated all applications and created runbooks and tutorials to ease administrative burdens, providing a smooth and efficient transition. ​

RESULT​

Everforth Apex exceeded our client's expectations in getting the huge volume of all workflows, apps, and data migrated to Power Apps on time and on budget. The migration from an old and outdated system to Power Apps significantly reduced complexity within the organization, allowing tasks to be completed more easily. This transition provided a robust platform for future growth and simplified the creation of new applications within the Power Platform. Productivity and employee efficiency increased, and there was a significant reduction in licensing costs.
