SITUATION  ​

With Windows 10® nearing the end of its support lifecycle, our client faced the challenge of migrating thousands of devices to Windows 11®. This migration was essential to avoid security vulnerabilities, operational interruptions, compliance issues, and compatibility problems with future software. Delaying the update past the end-of-life date would result in significant costs for legacy system support. ​

Recognizing the need for expertise in enterprise IT and our established history of successful collaborations, the client enlisted Everforth Apex for a smooth and efficient migration process. ​

The Everforth Apex team of 20 Windows 11® Techs was able to get started on the upgrade immediately and provide a comprehensive and swift transition. By methodically preparing for the transition to Windows 11® including evaluating the deployment strategy and addressing any queries or concerns, the team achieved an impressive rate of updating 480 devices per week. Our approach covered hardware installation, Windows 11® configuration, device replacement where necessary, and thorough troubleshooting procedures. Following the migration, we provided personalized training for employees to ensure a smooth adoption of the new system. Our Engagement Manager maintained regular communication with the client's key stakeholders, ensuring any issues were resolved swiftly and the migration remained on track and on time. ​

RESULT  ​

Everforth Apex successfully migrated 14,000 devices to Windows 11®, enhancing the client's security, compliance, and operational efficiency. This transition has not only eliminated potential downtime and the financial burden of outdated system support but also prepared the client for future software advancements.
