Everforth Apex is thrilled to announce that Christ's Body Ministries has been selected as a 2026 Q1 Grants for Good winner.

Each quarter, Everforth Apex’ Grants for Good program awards a $1,250 grant to two nonprofits—one nominated by our external consultants or clients and the other by our Everforth Apex employees. Both are selected through nominations reviewed by our Global Charity Committee to support the organizations’ missions and causes.

It is an important way for our consultants, clients, and Everforth Apex to contribute to nonprofits and positively impact the communities where we live, serve, and work.

We are proud to announce that one of our two recipients of the 2026 Q1 Grants for Good award is Christ’s Body Ministries.

The Awarded Organization

Founded in 1990 in Denver, Colorado, Christ’s Body Ministries serves the Denver Metro Area with a clear mission: to feed, clothe, and share the gospel with Denver’s poor and homeless 365 days a year. The organization offers hope and compassion to individuals experiencing homelessness in downtown Denver and surrounding communities.

Christ’s Body Ministries provides meals, shelter, counseling, and program referrals that help individuals access essential resources and, in many cases, regain stability and reengage with the community. Their services include a respite program offering temporary housing for people living on the streets, outreach to other shelters and churches downtown, weekly Friday church services, and community volunteer days on Saturdays.

Partnering with local restaurants, the ministry rescues food and products that would otherwise go to waste. With a chef and full kitchen, volunteers prepare and package fresh, high quality meals—ensuring neighbors are served with dignity and respect.

“In everything, we seek to bring honor and glory to our Lord Jesus Christ by being his tangible instruments of transformation on the streets of downtown Denver.”  - Christ’s Body Ministries

Who Nominated Them and How They Are Involved

Christ’s Body Ministries was nominated by Jami Frank, an Everforth Apex consultant who has volunteered more than 150 hours over the past two years. Jami first connected with the ministry during a period of unemployment and has since supported donation collection and processing, food preparation, and outreach trips to several shelters throughout the Denver metro area. These efforts include serving meals and distributing hygiene products, clothing, coats, and blankets to individuals in shelters and those living on the streets. As Jami shared, “Getting back on track can be hard. So, we offer that hope, that inspiration to know they’re not alone. They have a community that is supporting them.”

How Contributions and Volunteerism Make an Impact

Nonprofit organizations like Christ’s Body Ministries face challenges such as increasing competition for donors and volunteers, financial regulations, and compliance demands. However, with the aid of compassionate volunteers and grants like this one, Christ’s Body Ministries can sustain their mission.

This donation will support facility maintenance and repairs, food purchases to keep the kitchen stocked, and hygiene supplies for outreach efforts. These resources enable the ministry to continue providing respite, nourishment, and pathways to longer term programs for those who need them most.

How You Can Get Involved

Christ’s Body Ministries welcomes volunteers and supporters who want to help extend its impact. Denver locals can get involved by volunteering in the kitchen, preparing and packaging meals, or supporting the ministry by donating funds, hygiene items, clothing, coats, and blankets. For current needs, outreach schedules, and additional ways to serve, connect with Christ’s Body Ministries online or on Facebook and Instagram.
