Everforth Apex is thrilled to announce that Inspiring Better Business has been selected as the Grants for Good 2025 Q3 winner.

Each quarter, Everforth Apex’ Grants for Good program awards a $1,250 grant to two nonprofit organizations—one nominated by our external consultants or clients and the other by our Everforth Apex employees. Both are selected through nominations reviewed by our Global Charity Committee to support the organizations’ missions and causes.

It is an important way for our consultants, clients, and Everforth Apex to contribute to nonprofits and positively impact the communities where we live, serve, and work.

We are proud to announce that Inspiring Better Business has been selected as the consultant/client winner for the Q3 Grants for Good.

The Awarded Organization

Inspiring Better Business supports and empowers people to achieve financial stability through practical business mentoring around the world. Through its programs, the organization helps individuals start and grow businesses so they can support their families and positively impact their communities. IBB delivers a free, 14-week business training that covers budgeting, customer service, systems, and reporting, and pairs participants with one-on-one mentoring and coaching from experienced business leaders. Local business clubs create accountability and peer support, while intensive seminars, online courses, and practical tools help people start, refine, and scale their ventures. Through award-winning radio broadcasts that air twice weekly, IBB reaches millions with easy-to-implement business principles in native languages. The organization serves 11 countries, with curriculum delivered in 10 languages and adapted to local cultures and dialects. In their words, “We exist to inspire better business—and help small to mid-sized businesses start, grow, and excel.” Their goal is to give hope to individuals seeking a way out of poverty, reinforcing the belief that with dedication and hard work, anyone can succeed in their business endeavors.

Who Nominated Them and How They Are Involved

Inspiring Better Business was nominated by former Everforth Apex consultant Astrid Cerbone, a volunteer and graduate of the program. Astrid has supported IBB’s mission for nearly a year and a half and has contributed over 50 hours of support. She first learned about the organization through a friend and was drawn to its practical, people-first approach. “They give out skills and time to make the lives of people better around the world—especially for those who don’t have the means to go to business school,” she shared. “We collaborate with them, encourage them, and provide training that’s curated to their culture and dialect.”

How Contributions and Volunteerism Make an Impact

In today’s evolving world, nonprofits can be vulnerable to shifting regulations, reporting requirements, and increasing competition for donors and volunteers. Inspiring Better Business relies on volunteers—many of them current business owners—who share real-world experiences and resources. Their contributions inspire confidence, accelerate growth, and foster knowledge-sharing, ensuring that participants receive the tools and encouragement they need to build financially stable businesses and futures.

How You Can Get Involved

Inspiring Better Business welcomes volunteers and supporters who want to help extend its impact. You can:

  • Mentor IBB participants and local business clubs in developing nations
  • Share professional skills such as teaching English, graphic design, financial literacy, or marketing
  • Join a volunteer trip to educate, empower, and encourage entrepreneurs
  • Help fund radio broadcasts that reach millions with practical business education
  • Assist with translating and adapting training materials into local languages

The organization emphasizes that 100% of funds go directly to the field
