We are seeking a highly capable Infrastructure Engineer with strong AWS experience to support the build-out and connectivity of our data platforms. This role focuses on setting up core infrastructure, ensuring proper network connectivity, and partnering with cross-functional teams to enable our data strategy. While experience with data catalog tools is a plus, we are prioritizing candidates with a solid infrastructure and cloud background—we can teach the catalog components.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working across networking, cloud services, and data environments, and can effectively communicate with multiple technical teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot connectivity, and enable seamless integration with our data platforms.
- Build, configure, and support AWS-based infrastructure to enable data platform capabilities.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot network components, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity across systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, networking, security, and data teams to define and implement connectivity requirements.
- Support efforts related to data strategy, data warehousing strategy, and foundational data platform enablement.
- Participate in environment setup, infrastructure automation, and operational readiness.
- Assist in implementing or supporting a data catalog solution (training will be provided if needed).
- Document infrastructure components, architecture, and connectivity workflows.
- Hands-on experience configuring AWS infrastructure and cloud services.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, routing, security groups, connectivity, etc.).
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, networking, and platform teams.
- Exposure to data environments—data platforms, data warehousing, or data strategy.
- Ability to communicate technical requirements and collaborate effectively across teams.
