Empowering Each Other

Giving Back to Our Communities

We have created a united front in the communities where our employees live and work. Our Quarter of Caring expands our support of local communities and organizations. Each office across North America coordinates events throughout the year with the fourth quarter designated as Apex's campaign. Employees are encouraged to donate and volunteer to support charities in their community. Apex provides employees with one day of paid leave per year to participate in philanthropic activities.

Giving Back to Our Communities

Providing Opportunities

Apex encourages underserved and minority communities to pursue careers in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Our successful STEM partnerships and programs provide career support and growth opportunities for diverse groups.

In addition to financially contributing to our STEM partners, our staff organizes career readiness presentations, mentor relationships, job interview prep sessions, resume-writing workshops, business attire drives, and more. Together, we align individuals with the essential resources needed for improved opportunities along their career journey. Learn more about our initiatives by clicking here to read our Building Career Opportunities, Closing the Opportunity Divide article.

National Corporate Partner Against Cancer

National Corporate Partner Against Cancer

Apex has been a Partner Against Cancer since the American Cancer Society (ACS) was adopted as our corporate philanthropy in 2009. The ACS was chosen to honor many members of the Apex family of employees, consultants, and clients who have been affected by cancer. We have proudly raised over one million dollars for the ACS since our relationship began.

"At the ACS, our mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer, but this isn't something we can do ourselves; it takes incredible partners like Apex Systems who join us in this fight," said Brant Woodward, American Cancer Society Senior Executive Vice President.

Since October 2020, we have partnered with the ACS to host Gamers vs Cancer video game tournaments to raise more donations and awareness.
