MP&P Technical Analyst 3
Apex Systems is seeking Associate and Experienced Non‑Destructive Test (NDT) Specialists to support the In‑Service NDT team on first shift in Tukwila, WA. This position is officially titled MP&P Technical Analyst 3 and offers the opportunity to contribute to critical inspection and quality assurance activities in a technical manufacturing environment.
Compensation: $42/hr
Location: Tukwila, WA
Schedule: First shift

Key Responsibilities
- Author and maintain Non‑Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
- Incorporate revisions authored by Method Responsible Level III personnel through the standard procedure review process.
- Develop Computer‑Assisted Drawings (CAD) for specialized calibration standards.
- Perform setup and configuration of non‑destructive test and measurement equipment in accordance with calibration standards.
- Create detailed procedure figures illustrating inspection locations, geometry, accessibility constraints, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response.
- Identify and report potential adverse trends or anomalous inspection results.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of education or hands‑on experience in Non‑Destructive Inspection (NDI) or Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends as needed.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT) experience.
- 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear‑Wave Testing experience.
- 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET) experience.
- Experience using CAD software.
- Experience writing UT and ET techniques and inspection procedures.
